Parent Organization: Spiritual Organizations

The Catholic Newman Community (Newman or CNC) is a group of Catholic students and their friends who gather together for social, service, educational and spiritual growth opportunities. Newman meets at St. Augustine University Parish (across the street from Ullsvik Hall, at Hickory & Pine).

Mass at St. Augustine is at

  • 10:30am and 6:00pm on Sundays
  • 5:00pm Tuesday-Friday
  • 6:30am Monday-Friday (Latin Mass)

Also, Eucharistic Adoration is available 1:30-5:00pm Tuesday-Friday.

Here are some Newman gatherings that take place throughout the year.

-Newman Dinner (free food!) is every Wednesday at 5:45pm; everyone is invited!

-V3 features speakers brought in to enrich your knowledge of the Catholic faith.

-Retreats that will allow you to escape the craziness of the school year and re-focus on what is most important in life.

A list of all events is available at St. Augustine's and at http://pioneercatholic.org/.  If you would like to receive more information about Newman and the events that we have, please let any of our officers know, so you can be put on the email list. All are welcome to grow in faith, leadership and community through membership with us.
